Membership

The Charleston Center for Photography (CCP) is a resource center and community for photographic enthusiasts and professionals. We’re an education center, rental studio, professional printer and gallery under one roof. Our goal is to share information and expertise in an open atmosphere where photographers can nurture and further their talents.

Active CCP patrons would benefit from the Annual Membership because of discounts on classes, print services, portfolio reviews, photography excursions, exhibit opportunities and deeply discounted studio rental rates.

  • Discounts on Classes: Members receive a 10% discount on all six-week classes.
  • Client Meeting Lounge: Members may use the client meeting room for two client meetings per year at no cost – additional client meetings are just $10 each (not to exceed two hours). Reservations of the room are needed in advance and it’s first come, first serve
  • Photography Excursions:  Members may attend their choice of two, two-hour photography excursions or walk-abouts held by CCP throughout the year of their membership for free. Any two-hour photography excursions or walk-abouts after your designated two will be the normal workshop rate.
  • Portfolio Reviews:  Members may submit ten photographs to be reviewed and critiqued by professional photographers and also receive helpful tips for improvement. Members also have the option of observing the reviews without submitting imagery. Portfolio Reviews are held at CCP quarterly, ten portfolios are critiqued per Review and it’s first come, first serve.
  • Print Services:  Members are eligible for a print service discount of 10% off any order up to $200 and 15% off any order $200 or greater. CCP uses archival inks with Hahnemuhle paper, which produces museum quality prints that will last several lifetimes.
  • Studio Rentals:  Members will receive a 50% off discount on studio space rentals for two times during their year of Membership. Each additional studio space rental will be the normal half or full day rate. Members also have to opportunity to rent studio equipment at the normal half or full day rates or bring their own gear.
  • Affiliate Discounts:  10-20% off High Output, Inc. equipment rentals.
  • MEMBERSHIPS are $100 per year
  • MILITARY MEMBERSHIPS is $90 per year with a valid ID
