Environmental Portraiture

This class will show the students how to photograph friends, family and professionals in the environment that identifies them, or in a location that reveals their personality. The students will learn more about creative composition, exposure techniques for varied lighting conditions and interview methods to get their subjects to respond. A photographer’s knowledge of the portrait subject is the key to a successful photo. Electronic flash techniques will be covered. We will also use natural light and reflectors to enhance the portrait.
